PROJECT SUCCESS
WELSH WOOL ALLIANCE
Founders of a legacy alliance, who have successfully started to drive and shape industry change, through community driven clear directives, events, projects and policy influence.
EVENTS
We work in collaboration with the Welsh Wool Alliance and industry bodies in delivering events that help deliver change and promote the wool industry. Successes include the Wool is Gold event at the Senedd… and the planned Wool Eisteddfod in October 2023.
EISTEDDFOD
We are the founders of the Wool Eisteddfod - Eisteddfod Wlan delivering it on behalf of the Welsh Wool Alliance at the Senedd in October 2023. 50 Welsh Wool Businesses, over 25 Members of the Senedd, 21 Finalists, 7 Winners and 10 Industry Specialist Judges from Farm to Finish were in attendance at the Iconic Pierhead building. Llongyfarchiadau to all involved!
SENEDD CPG
Our founder Jacqui lobbied for and sits on the Welsh Wool Cross Party Group in the Senedd dedicated to the Wool Industry and devolved interests of wool in Wales. If you would like a topic tabled, please contact us in the first instance or why not join the Welsh Wool Alliance to be the first to know about events and current topics.
THE F PROJECT
A circular mapping and framework of the wool circle, from which to spring board into further research. It also acts as an effective learning and communication tool and was launched at the Senedd in 2022. Stage 2 is next!
FIBRE GUIDE
A free FIBRE guide was created and published, aimed at small holders and farmers to understand the testing report regarding their fibres received as part of a free testing opportunity with the IWT in Caernarfon. This was at the farmers request when they did not know best practice with harvesting or with reading, record keeping or actioning the results. The IWT subsequently used this as a base for their own publication material.
CONSULTING
We have supported numerous businesses, large and small, and received acclaim for being successful mentors and consultants.
We are open to consulting work and are particularly interested in collaborative industry, commercial and research projects.
LIBRARY
We have compiled a significant library of resources, both original reports from in house and cross referencing of the latest academic research, alongside plain english support tools to help the community in collaboration with the WWA. This is currently for internal research with our partners.

WOOL WALES ACTION PLAN.
Authors of a research driven action plan for Wool in Wales - which is supported by our work with multiple projects and partners. This is a plan for the future of the Wool Industry in Wales which we are working on with the CPG

Welsh Wool Textile Community - defining a future blueprint for localised excellence, provenance and protection.
WICKED
Collaborative exciting new project for launch 2024
FARMER CIRCLE
Community driven commercial trial project working with farmers, to drive and maximise value at source. The trial has been scoped and now we are looking to take it to stage 2 roll out for the 2023-24 wool season.

Cardiff University.
Working in collaboration with Cardiff University on a number of IP commercially driven initiatives.
SENEDD WALES.
The Senedd is the Welsh Parliament and we work with the Senedd as part of the CPG (cross party group) dedicated to Welsh Wool. The group is chaired by Cefin Campbell MS/AS and our founder supports him as Secretariat.

A key funding and research resource, we are working alongside the circular development team.
BRITISH WOOL.
British Wool manage the Farmers fleeces to sell at auction. Our 7000+ farmers are reliant on them to deliver the best price for their wool.
They have adopted 3 of our P Project initiatives as their strategic drivers - Provenance, Protection and Procurement.
