THE IDEA.
The idea was big and the challenges huge ..
Our Founders could see the potential of wool ..
.. they had worked in the industry for years but knew we needed to do better.
In 2021 Wool Wales became the home of their research.
We realised that the pan wales framework lacked strategic direction.
We joined forces and pushed forward to expedite momentum & map a future.
From Farm to Finish we have added purpose, by giving back to the Welsh Wool Alliance community we helped found.
Wool Wales is the home of ongoing research, product development, project management and framework trials. We have started to test the boundaries and barriers within the current wool industry framework, which is over 100 years old!

Our founders have decades of experience across the wool sector.
From regenerative farming, to high end commercial textile design.. innovative patents to pioneering projects, our experience and network of collaborators is second to none.
We do things a little differently .. We see opportunity where others see problems.
Our ultimate goal is to help protect & promote the devolved interests of our incredible natural resource, local talent, world class tech and green resources. Creating a leading paradigm for change.
We do this through strategic partnerships and projects.
LOCATION.
We are primarily based in Wales .. in the midst of Wool Growing country - Powys.
Placed between 2 wool depots and adjacent to historic mills and creative research hubs, we live and breath the wool circle.
Our work, collaborators and connections span the length and breadth of Wales and across the UK & International Wool Community..
