Wales has 10 million sheep, over 7000 Farmers, 70+ breeds of sheep and a strong Wool heritage.
We produce 3 times more wool per year than America and Canada combined
However, wool prices have been at an all time low and the knock on effects on the localised industry and farming has been hit hard.
The business model is over 100 years old and the cycle is broken .. but the appetite for change is strong.
WOOL WALES was founded in 2021 as the home of our founders research into a future facing circular industry to support the wool of Wales.
